I DID it! 😀

 I did it… I broke 200!! 🎉

Back around Christmas, I was sitting at 240, and honestly—it feels a little surreal even typing that now. This hasn’t been about a strict, miserable diet or punishing myself into change. It’s been about finally (and yes… finally ðŸ˜¬) deciding to pay attention to my health.

Learning to manage my Type 2 diabetes, starting Mounjaro, and incorporating Factor meals gave me structure—but the real shift? Consistency over perfection.

Turns out, the “boring basics” actually work:
✔️ Eating 3 solid meals a day
✔️ Adding in protein snacks
✔️ Not skipping meals and then wondering why I’m starving later

Who knew? (Probably everyone… except stubborn me 😅)

I’m not at the finish line yet—and I’m okay with that. I’d still like to lose another 15–20 pounds and then focus on maintaining. But now it feels doable, not overwhelming.

I’ll be honest, exercise is still my “work in progress.” I love walking… but I do NOT love cold weather. Minnesota, I’m looking at you 👀❄️
Once I’m back down south near the beach, I’ll be moving a whole lot more. And let me tell you—pool workouts? Game changer. Those water barbells are no joke, especially for us “seasoned” folks 😉 Low impact but they WORK.

I still need to be better about strength training and (why is this so hard?!) drinking more water… but progress is progress.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned through all of this, it’s this:
👉 You don’t have to be perfect
👉 You just have to keep going

Whatever path you’re on—losing, maintaining, starting over for the 10th time—it’s your journey. Learn from the slip-ups, adjust, and keep showing up.

Because real change? It happens when you finally decide you’re worth the effort!
