My style 😬🧐

Let’s talk style… because honestly, mine is about as low-maintenance as it gets 😄

Most days, you’ll find me living my best life in jeans, t-shirts, and graphic tees. If I really have to “dress up,” I might reach for a nicer blouse and khakis—but let’s not get carried away.

Now… when I’m back down south? That’s when she gets a little more feminine. Think easy sun dresses, comfy sandals, tank tops, sleeveless blouses, capris, shorts—and my personal favorite… skorts (because let’s be real, I am not always the most ladylike sitter 🙃).

Here’s the thing about style in your 60s—it’s finally yours.

No rules, no pressure, no trying to fit into someone else’s version of “age appropriate.” Your style might have evolved over the years… or maybe, like me, you’ve happily stayed in your comfort zone—and that’s perfectly fine too.

This is the era of “you do you”… and I am fully here for it.

That said, I do believe in a few good staples that make life easier:

• A crisp white top
• Classic black or navy pants
• A couple of go-to cardigans
• Neutral pieces you can mix and match without thinking too hard

Because let’s face it—we want to look good, but we also want it to be easy.

Now let’s talk shoes… because this is where my inner 21-year-old refuses to retire 😏

I am a full-on sneaker lover. Like… borderline collector.

My current ride-or-dies:

• Converse Chuck Taylor’s (forever a classic)
• Tretorns (yes, the comeback kids from the late 80s!)
• Nike Courts (because apparently I’m still cool in my own mind 😂)

Of course, I do keep a few good neutral dress shoes and casual pairs on hand—but sneakers? That’s where my heart is.

At the end of the day, wear what makes you feel like you. Not what’s trending, not what someone says you “should” wear—just what feels right when you put it on.
